The per-capita parasitism risk varies with the number of hosts when parasitoids exhibit host-dependent dispersal, whereas the corresponding deterministic model predicts that it is independent of the number of hosts. The number of patches \(N\), number of parasitoids \(P\), and host-dependent parasitoid dispersal \(\mu\) as were varied as shown in the figure. \(\alpha_{i} = 1/N\) for all i, and, a = 1.
